Klimer started in 1998 offering integral solutions for the hospitality industry. How has the company evolved from its beginnings to become a national reference in the distribution of equipment for the high catering industry?

Klimer was born in 2004, with its activity in the distribution of hospitality products, before we were dedicated to the distribution of cleaning products, we have evolved close to our customers, their needs and we have gone where we wanted to go with our passion for hospitality.

In 2023, Klimer celebrated its 20th anniversary with a catalog of more than 3,000 references and a growth forecast of 20%. What have been the key strategies that have enabled this sustained growth?

There has not been a fixed or prepared strategy, but a line of honest, real and humble work that has allowed us to approach the hotelier of all types of market, serving a bar, a food truck, a restaurant with 3 michelin stars, a hamburger restaurant, a hotel, a catering company.

‍Thecompany has grown from a small facility to a logistics warehouse serving nationwide.What challenges has Klimer faced in this transformation and how has it overcome them?  

We have had to expand our warehouses, we currently have 3 warehouses and one of them is a centralized warehouse with more than 1080 pallets of product to ensure the stock of our customers and a customized product warehouse that we keep for our customers and we do as a logistics operator.

We identify our product, listening and being on top of the customer, we travel and visit many businesses throughout the hospitality sector to be in constant innovation and novelty.

Product customization is a growing trend in the industry. What role does Klimer play in developing customized solutions for its customers in the foodservice sector?

We try to customize any need that our client has so that they can give an added value to their customers and that our client's brand travels and creates very good experiences.

In a competitive market, differentiation is crucial. How does Klimer ensure that it stays at the forefront of innovation and offers products that add value to its customers?

We started working on our new catalog in November and launched it in February, in those months we are looking for all the new products all over the world.

3. Packaging for Delivery and Sustainability

Klimer has expanded its portfolio to include single-use packaging and take-away solutions, adapting to current market needs. How has the growing demand for delivery services influenced the company's strategy?

There is no strategy here, it is only to provide a fast, agile and easy service to our customers, from design, conceptualization, models, manufacturing and most importantly the logistics service.

Sustainability is a growing concern in the foodservice industry. What initiatives has Klimer implemented to offer eco-friendly packaging options and reduce the use of plastics in its products?

For more than 8 years we have been starting to reduce plastics and today we offer 95% of our products totally sustainable and compostable.

The quality of packaging is critical to the customer's delivery experience. How does Klimer ensure that its packaging solutions maintain the integrity and presentation of food during transport?

All these years of experience have made us see what works, what travels well and what doesn't and that is what we tell and produce for all our customers.

Looking ahead, what are the main opportunities and challenges you envision for Klimer in the next decade within the foodservice industry?

To continue to make our customers grow and we are their best strategic partner.
